Laura Moriarty

I am very please to anounce that Laura Moriarty is returning to my studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Laura Moriarty makes process-driven works with pigmented beeswax whose forms, colors, textures and patterns result from processes similar to those that shape and reshape the earth. Her pieces have a feel of deep earth. Years of experience in encaustic, working with R&F workshops, numerous residencies and awards such as MARK 09 Award from the New York Foundation for the Arts, and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Working in sculpture, monotype, painting, writer; Laura has done it all. Laura’s techniques can take you to new levels and exploration in your processes.
