The Workshop - Work with your personal digital imagery

Wayne’s current techniques using wax and digital imagery are a culmination of experimenting with materials for art making. Combining a variety of media has always been part of his approach to creating and expanding an idea into a new direction. This workshop will be a mixed media approach to working with your own digitally printed images and encaustic paint. Student’s photographic images will be printed before the workshop on Japanese papers by Wayne, and brought to Mexico for you to work with. To add to the mix we will include mark making, India ink, collage, acrylic paint, powdered charcoal, pencil, and more. In addition, glass will be introduced as a surface to work on (with/ or without encaustic paint)! This will be an exciting adventure, learning new techniques for your imagery.
